Spurring leadership in sustainable supply chain challenges

CSR professionals from leading Scandinavian brands and organizations such as Axfoundation, IEH, Axfood, Intersport Sweden, Clas Ohlson, Menigo, Lindex, Gina Tricot, Kicks, Unil, KappAhl, Granit, and Rahmqvist visited QuizRR's office in Stockholm on September 5, to discuss their joint efforts with QuizRR for sustainable supply chains, and the importance of going beyond auditing.

With presentations from IEH (Ethical Trading Initiative Norway), Intersport Sweden, Axfood, and Axfoundation, the group identified successful practices and shared experiences on corporate responsibility management. Collaborations are essential to achieving safe and decent working conditions for all workers in global supply chains, and QuizRR encourages cooperation practices for large-scale social impact.

- It is promising to see businesses take a leadership role in addressing the human factors within supply chains. Responsible sourcing requires the combined efforts of strategic vision, detailed execution, and long-term partnerships to achieve impact. Brands are taking a proactive approach to analyzing social compliance gaps, and finding practical solutions that can make a difference, said Sophie Lu Axelsson, Account Manager and Business Developer at QuizRR.

Through digital education and with measurability, global brands are taking their supply chain management from basic employment practices to dialogue, wage management, and functional wage systems.
