Kungarna är tillbaka - Kings of Leon släpper nytt
Den 24 september släpper Kings of Leon ett helt nytt studioalbum, "Only By The Night". Första singeln "Sex on Fire" gick denna vecka in #1 på engelska singellistan och bandet har dessutom en turné framför sig med avslutining på ett utsålt Wembley Arena.
När Kings of Leon släppte sitt tredje studioalbum Because Of The Times i april 2007 skrev Entertainment Weekly: "crowning achievement", medan Rolling Stone ställde frågan: "How good can the Kings of Leon get? They've already gone further than anybody could have guessed."
I april 2008 gick Kings of Leon tillbaka in i Nashville's Blackbird Studio tillsammans med sin producent Angelo Petraglia för att spela in ett nytt album, den 24 september är det dags för releasen av "Only By The Night". Albumet plockar upp trådarna från var Because of The Times slutade, Kings of Leon fortsätter att tänja på gränserna i deras musik och markerar sin status som ett rockband i världsklass.
"After three records and touring for five years straight, we knew what we were capable of," berättar trummisen Nathan, "we just had to put our money where our mouths were. We had to take it to the next level. You always want your next record to be better than your last." Frontmannen Caleb fortsätter: "There's never a time that we'll make a record and won't attempt to do something better than what came before."
