Startup Guide Stockholm is a book filled with advice, how to's, case studies, inspiration and a fresh + real perspective of how to start a business in Stockholm. The book is a local startup guide with a focus on places, startups, founders, experts and educations and gives an overview of the startup scene.

It is based on the idea of a traditional guidebook, a book you carry along with you when you’re traveling to a new place to startup a project or business. Why do you need it? To find secret spots, to know where to go, what to do, what not to miss and to have experiences you didn’t imagine possible, all recommended by the people who know the city the best: THE LOCALS!

THE STARTUP GUIDE STORY – NOW IN STHLM

The Startup Guide concept was born in Berlin, when founder Sissel Hansen experienced the challenges of starting up in a new city in a new country on her own. She came up with the idea for the guide and put a team together, which resulted in the first guide in the summer of 2014. The Berlin book has been sold in more than 3000 copies across 30 stores. In the spring of 2015 the next guide was released in Aarhus. Now the turn has come to Stockholm, where the startup scene has developed tremendously over the past 5 years. Many initiatives have been taken to build the startup scene in Stockholm and the city is slowly starting to pop up on the global startup map.
