Art Week At Story Hotel

Starting Wednesday, November 3rd, Story Hotel introduces their latest art exhibition featuring Petter Kjellerås. The exhibit is Peter's vision, dream, and an extremely subjective interpretation of some of the most influential artists and their music. Kjellerås wanted to convey his experience of music, by making it heard in his pictures. As a press photographer, his visual displays could not be enhanced or manipulated. The excitement of this exhibit is his ability to manipulate by adding and subtracting, with pieces being distorted and changed. Peter has stretched the boundaries between press photography and art. Everything in order to achieve and create something more than a photographic depiction of reality. Wanting to convey the often unique and incredibly powerful experience, discharge, power, and commitment during a musician's live concert. 

Following Peter Kjellerås' exhibition opening, Story welcomes another Peter into their art program. Peter Eugén Nilsson, who earlier exhibited with Story, creates his latest acrylic masterpiece live both Thursday and Friday, November 4th and 5th. Peter is the artist who constantly realises his vision of strong characters and personalities. Both in an imaginative and picturesque world, but also in some cases, a hard, fair and realistic assessment. An admiration at how it can be created,  with empathy and his own thinking as he puts his own style and mark on the subjects. Bright, bold colors and sudden splash combinations. Nilsson's paintings give us the privilege to immerse ourselves in other people's emotions, with the small details that give the people their own unique manifestation - the snapshots.
