STS E-sports Camp in London 2019

Following the success of last summer’s E-sports camp in Malta, STS Education will be offering a new E-sports course in London in the summer of 2019. The course is being set up in collaboration with Liza Lind, chairman and co-founder of Female Legends, a Sweden-based gaming association that strives for inclusivity and gender equality in the world of E-sports.

The course has been designed to combine the features and benefits of a summer language trip, including activities, sightseeing and excursions with international classmates, with an in-depth E-sports camp. Participants will gain knowledge and skills within the field of E-sports and compete against and alongside one another, both individually and in groups.

But it’s not just about E-sports. Gaming will be combined with physical activities and excursions, as well as lectures and discussions on health and nutrition, strategies for mental focus, online values and more. Students will also have the opportunity to join other STS language trip students on activities and excursions in and around London, where they will live on a centrally located campus alongside other students and STS staff.
