Discover the future of packaging at Scanpack 2018

Sustainable materials, smart packaging, creative designs, digital printing. There is intense public and media interest in all aspects of packaging. And media representatives are welcome to discover what the future holds at Northern Europe’s leading event serving the industry.

Scanpack takes place 23-26 October at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, Gothenburg.

Interest in Scanpack is massive – the show was already fully sold out in the spring and companies are still queueing up for the opportunity to exhibit! The organisers now expect more than 17,000 visitors will congregate to see 460 exhibitors from 40 countries. They also expect the number of visitors from abroad to increase. Everyone will be there not only to experience the future of packaging design, materials and production but also to connect with the leading players and thought leaders such as Andrew Gibbs, CEO of The Dieline.

Cutting edge innovations on display will include materials, machines, digital printing, breathtakingly creative designs, e-commerce packaging and – one of the hottest topics – climate-smart packaging.

Visitors will be able to combine meeting the industry’s most important suppliers with attending a high-quality seminar programme featuring high profile packaging specialists and leading international brands such as Carlsberg, Iceland Foods, Pearlfisher and DS Smith.

A further highlight in a packed programme: Tim Sykes, Head of Content at Packaging Europe will present the Packaging Sustainability Awards, which celebrate innovations that are not only resource-efficient, but also reduce the amount of packaging waste
