Pressmeddelande -

Invitation: NANoREG - Annual Swedish Partner Joint meeting

Nanotechnology is a rapidly expanding key enabling technology for innovation and new products. Ensuring human and environmental safety is of outmost importance to nanotechnology-driven technological research, product demonstration and competitive manufacturing.

Sweden is a strong player in global research on nanomaterials safety, including through its involvement in EU-funded projects, such as the NANoREG project. The latter project is a widely recognized European Flagship for setting much needed common regulatory standards for the application of engineered nanomaterials. An overall aim is to promote a “design by safety principle” in materials work in the nano dimension.

On October 20, 2014, the Swedish Coordinating team and partner group invites you to an open one-day seminar in Stockholm with focus on Swedish nanosafety research and NANoREG activities. We are especially delighted to welcome Dr. Mats-Olof Mattsson from AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, Austria to give a presentation on the value chain studies within NANoREG.

You will also meet and hear on the activities of the Swedish research groups and companies involved in the project.
