SciBase secures SEK 92 million ($13 million) in new financing round

2010-12-02 07:00 Scibase SciBase, a Swedish medtech company developing a unique method for the detection of malignant melanoma, has recently closed a financing round of SEK 92 million ($13 million). The funds will finance the company through the ongoing final clinical verification process up to commercialisation in Europe/Australia and regulatory filing in US expected during the second half of 2011.

2009-08-24 14:44 Sentoclone AB SentoClone har fått tillstånd från Läkemedelsverket och Etikprövningsnämnden att genomföra en randomiserad kontrollerad fas II multicenterstudie på 140 patienter med avancerat malignt melanom. Den patenterade immunologiska metod, som SentoClone AB utvecklar, kan bli den första godkända behandlingsmetoden i sitt slag på marknaden.

The patented immunological method developed by SentoClone AB, could be the first approved treatment of its kind on the market.

In total VINNOVA is providing SEK 80 million in grants to 68 small companies in Sweden for research and development related projects.
