Large study in Gothenburg could save a lot of hearts

2012-02-23 16:59 GöteborgBIO The biggest research study of heart, lung and blood diseases ever to have been carried out in Sweden - SCAPIS - Swedish Cardiopulmonary Bioimage Study - was recently initiated in Gothenburg. A number of regional medical and healthcare operators are going to try and identify individual risk factors for heart attacks, sudden cardiac arrests and other heart diseases.

This new annual award called “A Cut Above” was launched as part of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, US.
