DUALITY COLOUR

COLOUR STROBING

The popular beauty technique of strobing – playing with light and shade – is now being applied to hair, with technicians blending together a number of different colours to create flattering ‘strobes of light’ and give the illusion of depth and tone. As most strobing techniques involve painting colour on to hair freehand, this creates a bespoke palette uniquely suited to your skintone and hairstyle.

FADED BRIGHTS

Soft pastel shades are brought into the fore for spring, with particular attention paid to rose pink, peachy coral and mint green hues. Tones are kept delicately faded for an ultra-flattering finish and to subtly enhance the texture of the hair. ‘Faded brights give a transcending illusion of femininity and softness, making it an ideal choice for spring,’ says Siobhan Golden, International Technical Artistic Director.

CITRUS CONTRAST

Pops of fluro will be seen everywhere from clothing to hair, and bold accent colour placement is one of the easiest ways to transform your look. You can go as bold as you dare and build up citrus tones over a few visits. Plus, it’s not solely reserved for blondes – tones of antique gold and strawberry can boost the depth of a brunette base.
