Hi3G has entered into frame agreements with PNB and Prenad regarding the roll-out of infrastructure for the third-generation mobile telecommunication (3G). The frame agreement covers the design and construction of base stations in Sweden.
The frame agreements with PNB and Prenad apply to a turnkey contract covering project management, design, construction and telecom pre-installations for base stations in the Malmö region.
The number of base stations to be constructed under the contract will be decided over time.
"The cooperation with PNB and Prenad gives us further resources in the rollout of the infrastructure that is needed for Hi3G's future service offering", says Chris Bannister, CEO Hi3G. "We are convinced that both PNB and Prenad will live up to our high demands with regards to quality and care for the environment."
"Through the cooperation with Hi3G, PNB is strengthening its position and leverage in terms of building the new infrastructure", says Percy Nilsson, CEO, PNB. "We are proud of the commission to take part in building the new generations mobile communication."
