*UP There, Everywhere, the Cloud Based Advertising Agency, has now passed the 100 people mark with its new approach. The company has no formal 'employees', but instead has 'members' who work together in a highly integrated fashion using the latest web based and social media tools. The agency, which was started in Stockholm in March 2011 with three people, now has members in 7 countries and 19 cities, from Helsinki to San Francisco in California.
Clients of the new style agency include The Nobel Peace Prize Concert, Airport City Stockholm and Science Magazine, based in Washington DC.
Julian Stubbs, one of the original founders of UP*, said 'It's fantastic that we've reached 100 members so quickly. We've actually been making a conscious effort not to grow too quickly as we're really keen on making sure the quality of what we do comes first. However we predict we'll pass the 200 member mark later this year.'
*UP There, Everywhere assembles teams that include roles similar to a traditional agency. The difference is that they might not all be sat in the same room – or sometimes even the same country. For each individual client, UP* creates a dedicated core team that fits the needs of the client’s marketing task. This team is typically composed of a relationship manager, and creative and strategic specialists. UP* also has the ability to add specific skill sets, such as social anthropologists, or multimedia designers, or social media leaders to the team as needed.
