We are confident that the sustainability research award will definitely stimulate more outstanding contributions in the future", says Mohan Munasinghe.
The jury has been working with five criteria to evaluate the nominees. Is the research original? Is the research practical – has it been implemented or can it be implemented easily? Has the research led to any economic gains to society? Does the research encourage and advance protection of the environment?
