What many people would call the event of the year, Melodifestivalen, starts the 4th of February. 3485 contributions were made to the show and now only 32 artists are left to compete for one of the 10 spots in the finale in Globen the 10th of March.
During a number of weeks we get the chance to follow the 32 artists’ road towards the finale; four contests, the “last chance” and lastly the big finale in Globen. The competition is seen by millions of TV-viewers and the artists and their songs are constantly in the spotlight.
With the assistance of VMS the fans are able to follow the artists to a much greater extent than any other year and in a way never possible before.
