Gothenburg, Sweden. May 23rd, 2011. The Swedish map software company Idevio is proud to announce Idevio Maps for QlikView. The new extension to QlikView is directly available to all QlikView partners and the 19,000 QlikView customers. Idevio Maps places the business data on the map with a performance that matches QlikView: simple setup, easy configuration and rapid rendering.

There have been map applications in QlikView before, but mostly implemented as static backdrops. The new Idevio Maps enables you to zoom, pan, highlight and make selections in a seamless and fluid manner without pre-defined steps. The map and the data objects are rendered in the web client, making it possible to handle multiple objects simultaneously and pinpoint vital conclusions.

Idevio Maps is implemented as an extension to QlikView 10, the business intelligence software platform that combines analytic and search functionality with the ease-of-use found in office productivity software tools for a broad set of business users. Idevio is a technology partner of QlikTech, together with Microsoft, SAP and 8 others prestigious companies. Idevio has been involved in the development of the new version of QlikView. For older versions of QlikView, dynamic map solutions are also offered by Idevio.
