The Global Election, announces that the ballots for the New Zealand election open at midnight UTC, the 17th of October. Theglobalelection.com aims to be the leading global forum for international elections where every world citizen can cast their vote in every countries election.

I found that there were no place where the international citizen could have their saying in other elections, and that was the first step to creating the website that do not only include the ballots for all the worlds upcoming elections, it also features a forum for discussions about the candidates and elections", says Ola Rynge, the founder of The Global Election.

The Global Election aims to enhance the international democracy process and create an independent platform where people from the surrounding world can make their voice heard in elections that they are not eligible to vote by law. This can be neighboring countries such a Colombians and Brazilians having a say in the Venezuelan election, but also for the whole world to have their say in an election that affects everyone, the US presidential election.

Each election follows a certain sets of rules:

• 1. For every presidential or parliamentary election in the world, an election is created at theglobalelection.com with the official parties and candidates as well as links to their official web pages.
• 2. 28 days prior to the election date, the ballots at The Global Election will open, and they will remain open for 26 days.
• 3. While the ballots are open anyone can track the election standings based on the whole world, each continent, and by country.
• 4. Four days before the actual election of the specific country, the final result will be sent out to the candidates/parties, the press and to those that are subscribed to the newsletter or are registered members of the political forum.
