With the new order the Swedish Armed Forces are close to a full deployment of Idevio's map technology RaveGeo. Applied in the majority of the real-time command and control systems, the map technology becomes a de facto standard. The size of the expansion of the RaveGeo integration reveals the strategic importance of Idevio's map technology within the Swedish Armed Forces.

Idevio's solutions are built on RaveGeo, the patented technology for high compression and fast access of digital maps. Since 2002 Idevio's map solutions are in daily use in a large number of command and control systems of the Swedish Armed Forces. The map solutions brings speed and value to complex web-based systems, as well as a range of hand-held devices.

Thanks to high performance, scalability and flexibility, the RaveGeo technology has proven itself as the tool for speeding up systems and rationalizing the distribution of map data in a cost-effective way.
