January sees record number of incoming tourists

 Some 212,000 tourists visited Israel in January – a 62% increase compared with January 2009 and an all time record for the month.

 

Last month 224,000 Israeli traveled overseas. The Central Bureau of Statistics said that this amounts to a 25% rise compared with January 2009. (Ynet)
