Wittra is the only Swedish company on the Top 100 North America.

In a select group from Europe, Wittra Sweden AB has been given a special distinction and joins prestigious alumni that have won in two regions. They are one of seven European companies to win the award in both Europe and North America. In 2017 Wittra has so far won the Red Herring Top 100 Europe, the Red Herring Top 100 North America, the Swedish 33-listan, and the Goe IoT Award.

Red Herring Top 100 North America enlists outstanding entrepreneurs and promising companies. Since 1996, Red Herring has kept tabs on these up-and-comers. The Top 100 list has become a mark of distinction for identifying promising new companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluates the companies on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technological innovation, management quality, overall business strategy and market penetration.

We are extremely proud over this recognition and acknowledging the competition of many Silicon Valley based companies, said Håkan Dackefjord, CEO, Wittra Sweden AB

Red Herring’s editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Alibaba, Facebook, Google, Kakao, Skype, SuperCell, Spotify, Twitter, and YouTube would change the way we live and work. Thousands of the most interesting and innovative companies have graced the Top 100 list over the years.
