SEQR has now launched in Portugal and more than 500 stores are already signed to roll out SEQR as a payment method. McDonalds, Lanidor and Science4you are just a few examples of merchants where you will shortly be able to pay with your smartphone. SEQR is now live in Sweden, Finland, Romania, Belgium and Portugal.
From 2015 the thousands of daily customers in JYSK Sweden’s 134 stores just have to grab their smartphone, when they pay at JYSK. This is a reality when JYSK introduce Seamless' (OMX: SEAM) mobile wallet SEQR in its Swedish stores. Danish JYSK Group is an international retail chain with 2,200 stores in 36 countries and an annual turnover of approximately €2,9bn.
The mobile wallet SEQR, provided by Swedish Seamless (OMX:SEAM), today introduces Shop Spot, a new feature that turns every media into a sales channel. A purchase is made directly from media and the product is then shipped to the chosen address. The feature is targeted to merchants, brands and media, while at the same time completely revolutionizing the shopping experience for the consumer.
SEQR announces that beauty chain The Body Shop will implement the mobile payment solution nationwide in Finland. SEQR launched in Finland earlier in 2014 with burger chain Hesburger and since then it has been implemented nationwide at TopSport, a leading Finnish sports goods chain. During the first quarter of 2015, SEQR will be rolled out to The Body Shop’s all 33 stores in Finland.
Seamless (OMX:SEAM), the company behind the mobile payment solution SEQR, recruits Beverly Cole as its U.S Head of Sales. Beverly has held numerous lead positions in finance and technology industries and most recently comes from First Data where she held the position as SVP and Strategic Account Leader for Bank of America Merchant Services.
