ASIA PR WERKZ LAUNCHES FINTECH & NEW AGE START-UP PRACTICE

Asia PR Werkz, a leading Singapore communications agency, has launched a new public relations practice for fintech and new age start-up companies in the region. The newly set up team will be led by Ms Anu Gupta, who joins Asia PR Werkz officially as Associate Director. Anu brings with her over 17 years of global public relations industry experience.

“As the largest and most diversified homegrown independent PR agency in Singapore, we believe that this is the right time for us to grow our fintech and start-up practice. At Asia PR Werkz, we spend a lot of time and effort finding the right people so we can provide our clients with the best leaders in the industry,” said Cho Pei Lin, Managing Director at Asia PR Werkz. “We are excited to have Anu join us, bringing her strong experience in entrepreneurship and fintech, and her international experience in markets like India, Middle East and South- East Asia.”

Anu started her public relations career in Bangalore (India’s Silicon Valley), following which she moved to Dubai and set-up her own public relations agency – Watermelon PR. Watermelon PR grew to become one of the strongest local independent public relations agency in Dubai, UAE. After her move to Singapore, she spent a few years as a freelance writer contributing to The Asian Parent, The Huffington Post and several corporates. 

Anu’s client portfolio comprised of start-ups and new age companies across industries like fintech, med-tech, health-tech and venture capital firms. She believes that her greatest strength is her deep understanding of the industry, media landscape across the region and working models that start-ups actively look for in their partners.

“The excitement is two-fold for me. Being an integral part of a well-established and fast-growing local firm as well as being able to put to test my entrepreneurial skills all over again.
