Press release -

Zero Waste Drumming Singapore

The founder and innovator of the Green Drumming project, Mr Arthur Choo has initiated TWO music modules ( Module 1 – Creation and Training (Making of Green Drums) , Module 2 – Performance and Presentation) for Campuses, ranging from primary school to universities, to participate in this sustainable project. He believes that everything is possible and rhythm is everywhere.

Green Drumming by BEAT’ABOX has been well received by the medias, huge organisations and societies. All of us believe to upkeep Singapore as Green City! (ref: https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/singapore-greenest-city/index.html)

Here are some pictures of the waste collected before making our drums.

After designing, reconstructing and customising these “waste”, we put them together through selecting the right pinches, tones and purpose – finally, a drum of our own.

Introducing you 3 of our performance pieces ( more updates on IG : @greendrum.sg soon! )

SG- DUO (Left) & BabyG (Right)
Made out of used plastic dustbins, used metal tins and rusty metal rods
