CLARKE QUAY, THE EPICENTRE FOR 2018 HSBC SINGAPORE RUGBY SEVENS

Singapore, 13 April 2018 – Rock, Ruck, and Rumble at 2018 HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens this April. Clarke Quay is the place to be with our host of activities starting with the “Singapore Rugby Carnival” on 14 April and “Music After 7s 2018” from 27 April. 

SINGAPORE RUGBY CARNIVAL BY THE QUAY (14 & 15 APRIL 2018)

Gather the brood and head to the Singapore Rugby Carnival at Clarke Quay on 14 & 15 April (Saturday & Sunday). Get up close with Rugby Legend, DJ Forbes & the National Athletes and have a blast with rugby-related games, challenges, fun inflatables. Stand a chance to win attractive Rugby 7s merchandise and tickets at this carnival. Admission is free and is suitable for all ages.

MUSIC AFTER 7S, THE GO-TO AFTER PARTY FOR THE 2018 HSBC SINGAPORE RUGBY SEVENS

(27 – 29 APRIL 2018)


Party starts even before play begins, as the Music After 7s returns at Clarke Quay on Friday 27th April, a day before the tournament starts.

Music After 7s is a free for all, three-night music festival featuring some of the best regional and local bands at the heart of Clarke Quay. It will be an epic weekend of great music, food and drinks.

27 April 2018 (Friday) – Gan Ainm Presented By McGettigan’s


Over the last fourteen years Gan Ainm (Irish for “without a name”) have established themselves as Singapore’s top Celtic Band. With an extensive repertoire of Irish traditional and folk music, mixed with a dash of Irish rock music, punk and Celtic-influenced contemporary songs, the band have entertained audiences at gigs, clubs and functions throughout Singapore and South-East Asia.

28 April 2018 (Saturday) – Stereofly & Sepia Presented By Highlander

The group consists of skillful musicians who have already captivated audiences from Japan to Indonesia through stage performances and concerts with large audiences. Stereofly’s performance is sure to raise the temperature in any room; creating an atmosphere that is guaranteed to be a steaming hot time.

SEPIA


SEPIA is a Filipino band formed in Daet, Camarines Norte in 2006 and they are one of the most commercially successful musical acts of Bicol. SEPIA's performances were chiefly alternative rock oriented, however with time the band incorporated diverse and innovative styles in their music, exploring the likes of Pop, progressive Rock, and even Hip Hop.

29 April 2018 (Sunday) – Rockweller Presented By Paulaner Clarke Quay


Lastly, to celebrate the finals, bring the excitement to the next level with Rockweller presented by Paulaner Clarke Quay! Formed in 2015 , RockWeller, is an English rock band from Singapore and Ukraine. Their influences include classic Rock, hard Rock, glam Rock, Heavy Metal and Punk.

The lineup consists of vocalist Olga Osmanova from Ukraine, lead guitarist Joel Lim, rhythm guitarist Jerald Lee, Syafiq Bustaman on drums and bassist Joseph Goh.

For the month of April, 2018 HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens ticket holders score big with amyriad ofexclusive parties and F&B promotions such as $7 beers & free entry to clubs when you flash your 2018 HSBC Singapore Rugby 7s tickets at participating outlets around Clarke Quay!
