PRESS RELEASE: SPOOKY ENCOUNTERS AT CLARKE QUAY

Since the dawn of time, there is one event man feared and anticipated above all others; a moment of unending darkness, bizarre mayhem and unimaginable fun! Clarke Quay’s supreme night of Halloween Celebration brings you Spooky Encounters on 27 October 2012, Saturday from 10pm till Midnight at Clarke Quay Central Square. So come in your scariest and lose sight of what’s real with every step you take as you journey with us through terrifying themed parties, streets filled with wandering ghouls and spine tingling Halloween concoctions.

Hosted by 98.7FM DJs Rosalyn Lee and Bobby Tonelli, admission to this wild celebration of darkness is free as we let loose to wicked rock tunes by Raw Energy and ghoulish fun filled activities.  Tune in to 98.7FM to find out how you can join Mediacorp DJs Glenn Ong, Jean Danker and Yasminne Cheng on a witch hunt around  Attica, Beer Market, China One and The Arena. Behold that creepy tingling sensation all night as you mask-up with our Face painters and have your picture taken with our infamous Ghost Bride and terrifying monsters. Step into the abyss of Hell, each more terrifying than the last at Rebel and Zirca as they torment your body and soul at Chamber of the Damned. Head to Beer Market; The Kingdom of Crystal Skulls for a myriad of treasures and myths. Brace yourself for a journey through the depths with sea creatures at Aquanova where the bizarre and ferocious sea serpents lurk. Escape into the forsaken woods at Mulligan’s as the malevolent energy of the forest surrounds. Choose your poison as we dare you to try the many unusual concoctions guaranteed to surprise you with an unexpected taste. The Beheaded Geisha (Sansui), Maelstrom (Fremantle) and Brain Enema (Hooters Singapore) are amongst the many wicked concoctions available for this special night.
