Researchers Find New Use for Wet Wipe Trimmings

As a company committed to sustainability, Kimberly-Clark has been leading the way in

sustainability-driven supply chain innovations and partnerships in waste and recycling programs.

A recent example is a research partnership with Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore that has led to an innovative solution for the wet wipe trimmings generated from the manufacturing process.

As a result, the trimmings are now used in lieu of saw dust as a pre-treatment drying agent in industrial waste, with further environmental benefits.

This co-innovation example demonstrates how Kimberly-Clark is getting additional value out of manufacturing waste, by thinking differently about manufacturing and disposal.
