Like a kid has fun at the playground, our team loves the heat of a trade show; meeting people, updating ourselves on market trends, demonstrating our platform and having a good chat with anyone. Exhibitions are like business playgrounds and its players are brands and service providers. And like kids leaving the sandpit, we all return home weary yet with a renewed sense of energy and passion.
Late last month, Mynewsdesk Singapore had the privilege of exhibiting at The Internet Show, Asia’s only internet business event. The exhibition ran from 25th to 27th April and was held at Suntec Singapore Exhibition and Convention Centre. All three days of the event were jam-packed with over 50 free seminars on a wide range of topics, including digital marketing, social networking, e-commerce, and content management. Booth-wise, Mynewsdesk Singapore did its modest best. We slathered our space with striking red furniture, decked ourselves out in equally excitable red apparel, and got down to work. Three whopping days of non-stop introductions, web-demos and a fair share of both casual and intense conversations with great people. If you missed any of these seminars whilst busy manning your booth or speaking with a prospect, or simply was an interested spectator on Twitter, no problem! One could easily keep up with the buzz on real-time by following @theinternetshow and #internetshowsg on Twitter.
Mynewsdesk Singapore has Terrapinn and its fabulous team comprising of Ang Eemei, Jehan Machacon and Monica Gabriel to thank for having us as Media Partners for this event and giving us the opportunity to spread the good word of the Mynewsdesk platform!
Thanks to our new intern Priyaa, we’ve got an interesting article for you to check out- How to Make the Most Out of a Conference or Expo.
Till the next exhibition!
