Engage the Indonesian market with Mynewsdesk

Press Release   •   Feb 27, 2013 08:30 SGT

Businesses that are looking to engage the Indonesian market can now do so via Mynewsdesk. Mynewsdesk launched its newsroom interface in Bahasa Indonesia – the national language of Indonesia. Via Mynewsdesk, businesses can identify and build relationships with key stakeholders in the Indonesian market and manage media content effectively.

In 2012, Indonesia has an estimated population of 248,645,000(1) and more than 55 million of its citizens are internet users(1). More than 700 startups(2) are already online and the numbers will continue to increase. A newsroom in Bahasa Indonesia would allow businesses to further their outreach to potential Indonesian clients who may not be fluent in English.

Meritus Hotels & Resorts, an Asian hotel chain, has incorporated the Mynewsdesk Bahasa Indonesian newsroom into their online communications process. With the newsroom seamlessly integrated with the corporate website, journalists or bloggers can have access to their archive of important information without searching elsewhere. Click here to access Meritus Hotel's hosted newsroom, or here for the newsroom on Mynewsdesk.

Ms Janice Azupardo, Regional Vice President of Meritus Hotels & Resorts added, “As we expand our footprint into Asian growth markets such as Indonesia, it becomes more crucial that we as a brand are able to leverage communication tools that allow us to effectively engage our target audiences in their local language. Mynewsdesk is one such tool, and the currently launched Bahasa Indonesia newsroom is just the platform we need to strengthen Meritus’ reach in this very important market.”

The Bahasa Indonesian interface is the latest addition to a variety of languages that Mynewsdesk’s newsroom is offered in. Including the new interface in Bahasa Indonesia, Mynewsdesk has newsrooms in English, German, Dutch, French, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish. There are also upcoming plans for integration of more languages.

Mynewsdesk’s newsroom serves as an online media centre, a one-stop solution for effective content publishing, management of relationships with key influencers and reach out to a global network of journalists.
