Mynewsdesk Takes on Asia at ad:tech Singapore

Press release   •   May 23, 2011 20:24 +08

On 16 and 17 June, Mynewdesk will paint ad:tech Singapore RED. The News Exchange Site is not only exhibiting at ad:tech, one of the premier events for Asia’s interactive marketing community, but Mynewsdesk is also an official newswire partner.

Mynewsdesk helps companies distribute press information to journalists and important influencers, entirely on their own terms.  With a social media newsroom, it's easy for communicators to share search engine-optimized material within social media and across the Internet.  Today, nearly 3,500 companies from different parts of the world use social media newsrooms at Mynewsdesk.

Mynewsdesk, with its main office in Stockholm, Sweden, is growing fast in new markets.  In March of this year, Mynewsdesk opened the doors to its office in Singapore and established its presence in Asia.  Work in establishing Mynewsdesk in this new local market has entered an intense phase, and in a very short time Mynewsdesk has already signed contracts with several important clients such as Singapore Changi. Now they are taking it to the next level... the level of ubiquity!

ad:tech will be Mynewsdesk’s first major event in Asia and they will take part as official Newswire Partner. This yearly conference and exhibition attracts the key players within Asia’s interactive and digital marketing community.

‘All good things should be shared. And we are in the business of sharing information,” says Robin Lim, Sales Manager for Mynewsdesk Singapore.  “Mynewsdesk is known in Sweden as providers of an excellent platform between communicators and journalists to achieve their intended objectives.”

Mynewsdesk Asia, being new in Asia, seeks a medium through which to take the first steps towards that level of ubiquity achieved in Sweden. With that in mind, ad:tech was chosen to reach out to our audiences and help companies and organizations strengthen their PR and marketing efforts.

Robin Lim continues: ”We hope to capture the attention of industry watchers and launch Mynewsdesk as an international brand that caters to markets without boundaries.”

ad:tech will be held at the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore 16 and 17 June, 2011.  Mynewsdesk will exhibit its PR services and host activities and competition from its base at Booth #6.

Moreover, Mynewsdesk's CEO, Peter Ingman, will also be in attendance and participate in a panel discussion about the future of the publishing industry, Re-inventing Print.

Mynewsdesk’s aim will be to make contact with other companies and participants, gaining further insight into the PR and communications industry in Asia.

”We are also seeking collaborations with like-minded companies on mutual benefits, that will further open more doors to brand marketers,” says Robin Lim. “Come visit us at our awesome booth and grab some DAIM chocolates before you go. Don’t forget we are people who love to share.”

UPDATE: Now you can view all presentations, workshops, and panel discussions held at ad:tech Singapore online.
