Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE) is the central marketplace for listing and trading of a wide range of financial instruments in the Norwegian market through five different marketplaces; Oslo Børs, Oslo Axess, Merkur Market, Nordic ABM and Oslo Connect. OSE enjoy a unique position for companies in the energy, shipping and seafood sectors. Companies from all over the world turn to the Norwegian market to raise capital, access liquidity for their shares and benefit from a range of world-leading investment research coverage available in Oslo, with investors looking to the Oslo market for access to high-quality Norwegian and international companies.

Singapore Exchange (SGX) is Asia’s leading and trusted market infrastructure, facilitating the exchange of capital and ideas to create value for people, businesses and economies. As a multi-asset exchange operating equity, fixed income and derivatives markets, SGX is a vertically integrated business that provides listing, trading, clearing, settlement, depository and data services. With about 40% of listed companies and 90% of listed bonds originating outside of Singapore as well as established linkages across the region and in Europe, SGX is Asia’s most international and connected exchange.

This event will address the issues of navigating the capital markets for cyclical industries like the energy and shipping sectors, the two exchanges development into regional and/or industry hubs, and what they consider the driving forces within their respective exchanges during the reminder of 2016.
