HIGH LEVEL SUMMIT IN SINGAPORE

Singapore, 5 April 2016: What is happening in the maritime, offshore and energy industries in Asia? How important will ASEAN and China’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative be going forward? And how can Norwegian businesses succeed in Asia?

These are among the issues that will be discussed when government members such as Norway’s Prime Minister Erna Solberg, Singapore’s Minister of Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang, Indonesia’s Minister of Energy Sudriman Said meet with high level leaders and experts from Asia and Norway at the Norway-Asia Business Summit.

Top leaders including Keppel Offshore & Marine’s Michael Chia, SPRING Singapore’s Poon Hong Yen, Singapore Shipping Association’s Esben Poulsson, Remi Eriksen from DNV GL, Jens Ismar from Western Bulk, and the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association’s Sturla Henriksen will all speak.

Academics and experts such as author and CNN contributor Parag Khanna, McKinsey’s Oliver Tonby, FICCI’s Narendra Taneja, professor Torger Reve and oil expert Torbjørn Kjus will add depth and insight.

The organizer, the Norwegian Business Association (Singapore), expects around 250 attendees from Norway and Asia at the event, which will take place at the historic Fullerton Hotel. A complete program and registration form can be found at www.norway-asia.com.
