The Norway-Asia Business Summit has become a regular high-level meeting place for Norwegian business interests in Asia. Held in Bangkok 24-26 April 2014.

The Norway-Asia Business Summit has become a regular high-level meeting place for Norwegian business interests in Asia and relevant government agencies, representing the “Team Norway” concept. The 2014 summit is organised by the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce and will cover macroeconomic trends in Asia, food and energy security, as well as business opportunities in ASEAN and other Asian countries. It will include topics such as the development of free trade agreements, CSR, and the prospects of a Northern Sea Route

between Asia and Europe. Finally, the summit will feature some of the Norwegian business success stories in Asia. How “Team Norway” can support Norwegian business ventures in Asia will also be discussed. After participating in the summit, your company will be better prepared to handle the challenges and benefit from the great opportunities that lie within Asian markets. We are expecting some 200-250 participants from Norway and all of Asia. A number of high-profile speakers have already been confirmed, such as Minister of Foreign Affairs

Børge Brende, Egil Hogna (Yara), Dr. Surin Pitsuwan (former ASEAN Secretary General), Sigve Brekke (Telenor Group), Bjørn Kjos (Norwegian) and Kristin Skogen Lund (NHO). The summit will be held at Bangkok’s famous riverside Shangri-La Hotel. The Myanmar Extension will be held at the Traders Hotel in Yangon.
