Panasonic features smart factory solutions in NEPCON Vietnam 2015

From 17 to 19 September, NEPCON exhibition, the largest show on Electronics Manufacturing Industry was held at the Hanoi International Center for Exhibition. The shows has attracted 5,784 potential visitors with the participation of over 100 brands from 10 countries. Participating in the event, Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific and its Authorized Distributor - Daiichi Jitsugyo (Vietnam) Co., Ltd presented the latest generation of Panasonic SMT technology as part of the smart factory solutions.

Guests of Panasonic exhibition booth has the opportunity to observe and evaluate a fully function mini production line consisting of our Hybrid Printer (SPG), Chip Mounter Modular (NPM-W2) and the MES Solution PanaCIM, which is considered as flagship for the tendency to Industrial 4.0

The Chip Mounter Modular NPM-W2 is redesigned and upgraded from last year’s revolutionary predecessor NPM-W. It features a 10% throughput boost and 25% accuracy increase which ensures higher productivity and better quality control. The control system PanaCIM contributes to maximize operation efficiency, allowing comfortable management of materials, outputs and product quality by creating a complete eco-system for production. With the introduction of PanaCIM, Panasonic aims to provide customers with comprehensive solutions of Industry 4.0 for further improvements in the manufacturing process.

The highlight of the exhibition is the production line actual operation demonstration. Visitors are invited to observe the whole process of electronics circuits manufacturing assembly as outputs usable in mostly electronic products such as smart phone, refrigerators, or televisions.

Mr. Duc Tho from Microsoft is impressed by the showcase of Panasonic’s Smart Factory Solution: “Panasonic’s products are quite well known for innovative technology and stability but I’ve never had the chance to use them before. With all features presented today, I’ll definitely want to consider Panasonic products for the future purchases.”
