The elegant Lobby of Raffles Hotel will transformed into a festive dining hall on Christmas Day, with a soaring 20 feet live Christmas Tree, taking centre stage in the heart of the atrium. This year, the Wine Director Mr Stephane Soret, has hand picked Champagne Delamotte Brut to complement the sumptuous Christmas Day Brunch. The delightful spread includes a fine seafood display of Belon, Marennes, Fine de Claire and Gillardeau Oysters and Maroon Large Fresh Water Crayfish; Terrine with Winter Black Truffle on Toasted Brioche; Leg Confit with Herbs, Grilled Chestnut Cream with Truffle Jus; a delectable selection of Mons Cheese; an array of desserts and Christmas cookies to end the meal on a sweet note.
Raffles Grill, the elegant fine dining restaurant presents a gastronomic ensemble of the freshest seasonal ingredients and perennial yuletide offerings on a six-course dinner menu available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Special highlights on the Christmas Eve menu include Foie Gras Terrine, Honey Brandy Jelly, Apple and Endive; Steamed Fillet of Seabass, Shallot Confit, Warmed Oyster and Sorrel, Seasonal Vegetables; Leg Confit with Herbs, Grilled Chestnut Cream, Truffle Jus; and Pear and Coffee Yule Log, Bailey’s Ice-Cream, and more.
Impress your family with a wholesome Christmas buffet at the Bar & Billiard Room or Long Bar Steakhouse this festive season. The Bar & Billiard Room will be showcasing an elaborate buffet spread on Christmas Eve, a Champagne Carving Brunch and Buffet Dinner, both featuring Champagne Laurent-Perrier Brut L-P on Christmas Day, and a Champagne Carving Brunch with the pairing of Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve on Boxing Day. To celebrate the festive season, a special Festive High Tea will be available at Tiffin Room from 1 to 24 December 2010. Our pastry chefs present a selection of lovingly handcrafted pastries including Stollen, Paneforte, Panettone Classico and Chocolate Christmas Log Cake; Cherry, Chestnut and Gingerbread Soup; along with perennial favourites including Scones with Clotted Cream and Jam; and Christmas Cookies, Gingerbread Madeleine, Strawberry Tartlet, Chocolate Choux a la Crème and Finger Sandwiches served on a charming three-tier silver stand.

New Year’s Eve Gala Ball
Round off a spectacular year with the social affair of the season – Raffles Hotel’s annual New Year’s Eve Gala Ball. A distinguished tradition that has remained on the Hotel’s social calendar since the 1900s, sip flutes of delicious bubbly and savour butler-passed canapés in the Grand Hotel Lobby before sitting down to an exquisite seven-course menu by Raffles Grill’s Chef de Cuisine, Julien Lemarie. Two energetic disc jockeys will be spinning high-energy tunes throughout the night before a resonant countdown with a spectacular balloon drop at midnight to ring in the New Year.
