CheapTickets.sg rescue city workers from the monsoon rains
The online travel agency CheapTickets.sg recued city workers from the rain on a wet afternoon in Raffles Place yesterday as they promoted the launch of their Singapore website. The CheapTickets team, dressed up in beach attire including large inflatable’s battled the elements to promote the offerings of the new travel booking website. The team embraced the notion of philanthropy by using their many colourful umbrellas to ferry the public between the surrounding retail outlets and the MRT entrance. There were smiles all around as the grateful public remained dry under the teams shelter. The team used the opportunity to spread the word and encourage the public to take a break from work by booking a flight out of Singapore with them. CheapTickets.sg has been promoting their launch competition to find 5 ambassadors for the Singapore site, each of the ‘CheapTickets Ambassadors’ and their partners will fly around Asia for free every weekend for 1 month. The competition entry can be done through the website, www.CheapTickets.sg.
