ICA Recalls Passports For Verification Over Printing Problem (An Update)

On 8 June 2011, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) reported on a technical glitch which affected a batch of 1,280 passports issued between 23 May and 3 June 2011.

2.     As of 5pm today, a total of 906 Singaporeans have had their passports verified and problems corrected.

3.     We thank those who have come forward and strongly urge the remaining passport holders to come to the ICA Building as soon as possible. Dedicated counters are set up on level 3 of the ICA Building, to handle those with affected passports. We will be open from 8.00am to 8.00pm from Monday to Friday; and 8.00 am to 3.00pm on Saturday. All affected passports will be corrected on the spot.
