Low fares leader Jetstar will be mounting four additional return flights between Singapore and Penang to meet travel demand during 2012’s Lunar New Year.
Both Singapore and Malaysia will mark Lunar New Year with public holidays on 23 and 24 January, falling on a Monday and Tuesday respectively.
Residents from both countries are expected to take advantage of the preceding weekend and public holidays to travel to nearby leisure destinations.
These additional four return flights are on top of the carrier’s existing daily return service between the two cities.
