New Flyover along CTE (SLE) opens from 6am, 17 December 2011

Press Release   •   Dec 14, 2011 17:12 +08

As part of the Central Expressway (CTE) widening project, the flyover along CTE (SLE bound) will open from 6am, 17 December 2011. The flyover along CTE (City) is open to traffic since 3 December 2011. As announced earlier, LTA has completed the widening of Central Expressway (CTE) between Bukit Timah Road and Yio Chu Kang Road to four continuous lanes.

With the opening of the new flyover, motorists from the PIE will need to go onto the flyover to travel to CTE (SLE bound) and to Braddell Road, while motorists exiting from CTE (SLE bound) to Braddell Road will need to exit via a new slip road (new exit 10) that is about 200m before the existing exit and located under the new flyover. The existing exit 10 will be closed with the changes in traffic scheme.

For more information on the traffic scheme changes, please refer to Annex A1 and A2.

Directional and information signs will be displayed along key approaches to the flyovers in advance to guide motorists. Traffic Marshals and Auxiliary Police Officers (APOs) will be deployed on the first few days of opening to assist motorists.

Should motorists require additional information, they can contact the LTA hotline at 1800-CALL-LTA.
