THAI Confirms Full Service to Passengers

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) confirms that THAI still operates regular flights in/out of Suvarnabhumi Airport and continues to open THAI ticket and reservation offices.

While there is flooding in a number of provinces in the central region, including some areas in Bangkok, there are also many areas not affected such as Suvarnabhumi Airport. Travellers can continue to visit those areas by connections at Suvarnbhumi Airport.

To facilitate THAI’s passengers, the Company has set up procedures for convenient travel in/out of Thailand.

Check-in: THAI has additional check-in counters at the Airport Rail Link, Makkasan Station. THAI passengers traveling to Suvarnabhumi Airport by Airport Rail Link may check-in their luggage and personal belongings at THAI’s check-in counters, located on 3rd floor, Airport Rail Link, Makkasan Station, starting today from 07.00 hours until 21.00 hours everyday. The Airport Rail Link check-in service is open for all THAI’s flights departing Suvarnabhumi Airport between 10.00 – 01.20 hrs. Passengers must check-in by themselves 3 hours prior to flight departure and receive their boarding pass and luggage tags.   Note that passengers traveling to Los Angeles must check-in at Suvarnabhumi Airport only.

Ticketing: All THAI tickets including redemption tickets issued on THAI’s website ( ) or by ticketing offices and travel agents issued Worldwide (except Greece) issuing date on or before 30 November 2011 with travel period during 01 October – 15 December 2011 reservation can be changed with no additional fees. Aircraft:   THAI will increase its seat capacity in order to support the demand of travelers to THAI destinations in Thailand. Passengers can travel in/out of Suvarnabhumi Airport and connect to other major cities such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Khon Kaen, Phuket, Ubon Ratchathani and Udon Thani.
