Accor grows its regional reach with signings in South Australia and Victoria

Accor is pleased to announce two new hotels have joined the network in regional Victoria and South Australia.

An existing property, The Wilpena Pound Resort (pictured) in South Australia has joined Accor’s distribution network and will operate under a management agreement with Accor, effective immediately.

The 60 room hotel and the stylish Ikara Safari Camp are located within the Flinders Ranges National Park in South Australia. The properties are a base for travellers looking to explore the ancient mountain ranges and deep geological and indigenous history all while catching a glimpse of the quintessential Australian wildlife found in this beautiful landscape. By joining Accor, the hotel and the region are set to further benefit from the group’s worldwide distribution network.

The resort features an on-site restaurant, bar and a solar-heated swimming pool, and all of the guestrooms are air-conditioned and feature private ensuites. The 15 Safari Tents also have their own ensuites and are fully air conditioned.

Accor is pleased to announce that Mercure Warragul will join the network in July 2015 under a franchise agreement.

The new build, 50-room hotel is located in the centre of Warragul which is approximately 100kms south-east of Melbourne and south of the Great Dividing Range region. The hotel will have one meeting room and charge back facilities to a restaurant and bar which will be leased to an independent operator.
