Accor re-establishes foothold with the opening of Novotel Yangon Max

Accor, the largest international hotel operator in Asia Pacific, is pleased to announce the opening of its third property in Myanmar, Novotel Yangon Max. With its close proximity to the city’s commercial and cultural hub and Yangon International Airport, the new hotel is the perfect choice for both business and leisure travellers looking to explore the sights and sounds of this charming former capital of Myanmar. The hotel boasts 366 guest rooms, two ballrooms that cater to corporate and private events, seven F&B outlets and recreational facilities.

Contemporary design permeates all levels of Novotel Yangon Max’s rooms and suites with the display of space, transparency and light. Fully furnished with a working desk and modern gadgetry, the cosy guest rooms are elegantly designed with a spacious living space and a modern bathroom with a separate rain shower. Ranging from 29 to 75 square metres, the 366 guestrooms include 123 Executive Rooms and Suites (including a Presidential Suite) on the Executive Floors with club access to the Premier Lounge and VIP amenities.

With three restaurants and four bars, the hotel presents an array of dining venues. The Square, is an all-day-dining restaurant that offers international cuisine. For authentic Cantonese cuisine and an all-you-can-eat dim sum lunch buffet, the Royal Pavilion Chinese restaurant is the perfect choice. Scheduled to open soon, The French Restaurant offers superb dining with magnificent views of the Shwedagon Pagoda. Cocktails, cool music and a relaxed vibe are a recipe for happiness at the hotel’s bars. Unwind at the either the Lounge and Studio with live music or simply chill at Time Out watching live telecasts of your favourite sports or enjoy an evening by the Pool Bar.

Novotel Yangon Max offers the perfect choice venue for meetings and events, featuring two ballrooms, a conference room and six meeting rooms. The Yangon Ballroom boasts a 12-metre-high ceiling that accommodates up to 700 guests, while the Pyay Conference Room easily welcomes a crowd of up to 400. With ample parking spaces on site, the hotel offers easy access to meetings and functions.

The hotel’s recreational facilities include the In Balance fitness centre, Spa by Manida, a tennis court, a yoga room, an outdoor swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, and a pool and club for kids.
