INAUGURATION OF SOFITEL PARIS LE FAUBOURG AND YANNICK ALLENO’S NEW RESTAURANT STAY FAUBOURG

April 8th – A spectacular gala has been held to inaugurate Accor’s new Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, entirely decorated by Didier Gomez, and to present Yannick Alléno’s new restaurant STAY Faubourg.

The spirit of Parisian fashion reigned over this soirée in the heart of the Faubourg Saint-Honoré district, in the middle of Paris Fashion Week. The magic of the fashion world was captured in the details, from the designer cocktail decorations to the wall of stylized photographs and the alluring sounds of DJ Inès Mélia.

More than 600 guests attended the inauguration, a mix of high Parisian life, fashion and international bloggers, including Chantal Thomas, Vincent Darré and Jean-Claude Jitrois.

Inspired by the district’s luxury atmosphere, Didier Gomez imagined and designed the new Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, combining reminiscences of an 18th century private manor with the codes of a fashion house via a series of references to the history of fashion and bold design. An eclectic vision that is resolutely Parisian chic.

Michelin 3-star chef Yannick Alléno oversees the restaurant services at Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, from breakfast to the bar’s elegant lunch menu right through the hors d’oeuvres accompanying the end-of-evening cocktails. At the heart of the hotel, Yannick Alléno’s STAY Faubourg restaurant opens its doors today. A veritable urban restaurant concept inspired by the chef’s travels, STAY is designed for an elegant clientele hungry for gourmet adventure and escapades, in keeping with Yannick Alléno’s audacious creativity. The STAY is also a temple of delicacies and delights, and its centrepiece is a pastry “library” offering ever more innovative and surprising pastries for the pleasure of each guest.
