APS Gallery turned pop-up marketplace for a day on 08 June 2013

APS Lifestyle Marketing, exclusive distributor of home appliances brand Smeg, Whirlpool and Küche, as well as Vintec and Transtherm wine chillers, decided to inject a little bit of fun in the way their appliances are showcased in their flagship 2-level showroom, the APS Lifestyle Gallery. For that, they turned their showroom at 9 Muthuraman Chetty Road into a Pop-up marketplace, named 9MCM, for a day on 8 June 2013 and invited some really interesting partners to collaborate in this special occasion. 

At level one, where the Smeg gallery and the Vintec and Transtherm wine chillers are being showcased, partners such as Supernature, Dream Interior, Gourmet Partner and E+ Wine kept the crowd entertained with organic produces, quirky home deco, gourmet delights and fine wines. There was even a demo session from Supernature in the afternoon at the Smeg Linea live kitchen, using fresh and organic ingredients to whip up a healthy meal.

Over at the second level of the showroom, quirky deco and art pieces from Flab Slab and Mrydette were on display and on sale, Le Creuset showcased their premium cast iron cookwares, Robe Raiders raided 9MCM with their clothes, shoes and bags, while Coffee lovers flocked to Nylon Coffee Roasters in doves for their coffee fix.

Visitors were also spoilt for choice when it comes to food at level 2 of the showroom as The Handburger served their mini burgers and sliders from the Smeg Classic live kitchen, OKB delighted the crowd with their signature Brekkie in a cup and tartlets at the Küche live kitchen, Windowsill Pies served their pies at the Whirlpool Live Kitchen, Thirsty the beer shop served their cold beers straight off the Smeg Retro Fridges and not forgetting Popaganda and their ultra cool Ice Pops.

Close to 400 visitors came for the inaugural 9MCM Pop-up marketplace between 11am to 6pm and had a blast of a time on A Perfect Saturday.

The event organizer had not decided if there will be another 9MCM but if you’ve visited and enjoyed the event, kindly help them spread the message and like their facebook page in their quest to bring 9MCM back.
