Asia PR Werkz appointed by British Council Singapore
Asia PR Werkz has been appointed by British Council Singapore to handle its public and media relations matters. The agency will be working on a retainer basis to strategise publicity plans for the leading educator’s Young Learners division. APRW will also be responsible for all local media outreach pertaining to education matters on their behalf.
The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. Through its efforts in education, science, governance, English and the arts, it seeks to build engagement and trust for the UK. In 2013-14, its programmes reached a total audience of 600 million people worldwide.
British Council Singapore was established in 1947 and has a long history in providing quality English Enrichment courses for pre-school, primary and secondary students under the Young Learners department. Taught by highly qualified English language teachers, these courses deliver the same learning outcomes as the local MOE curriculum, through the British Council’s unique teaching methodology. Since its inception, it has built a strong reputation as the go-to English experts in Singapore.
