Singapore River Festival 2017 appoints media partners – AUX Media Group and Asia PR Werkz

AUX Media Group and Asia PR Werkz have been appointed as the official partners by Singapore River Festival 2017. The consortium will handle the festival’s advertising, event management and public and media relation affairs. Through the partnership, the creative content development company and public relations agency aim to deliver an integrated campaign that will celebrate and bring the key attributes of the iconic river and its quays to life.

Organised by Singapore River One, Singapore River Festival 2017 (3rd edition) will once again feature activities across the three quays along Singapore River and SR Signatures, a curation of some of the best dishes in the precinct. Visitors can look forward to a food market, live performances and even a fashion show along Boat Quay. More events and activities are also being lined up involve more stakeholders and create an engaging event for all.

Ms Michelle Koh, Executive Director of Singapore River One (SRO) said, “We are thrilled to have AUX Media Group and Asia PR Werkz on board for Singapore River Festival 2017. Both of them have vast experience in running large-scale events, and we are confident that this consortium will lend their expertise in ensuring a smooth and successful event that will enhance our visitor’s experience at the Singapore River precinct.”

Established in August 2012, SRO is the place manager of Singapore River (SR), consisting of Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay. SRO’s place management efforts focus on enhancing the river’s social, physical and economic environment through collaborating with its key stakeholders – including its residents, property and business owners.

The Asia PR Werkz team will develop and execute media engagement strategies that showcases the Singapore River’s rich heritage and modern charms, as well as build further awareness towards the milestone event that is the festival.

Projects that Asia PR Werkz have previously worked on include SWITCH – Singapore Week of Innovation & TeCHnology (SWITCH), Hari Raya Light Up, and Siloso Beach Party.

AUX Media Group has also worked on SHINE Festival, Concerts in the Park and SAF50 Campaign.

About Singapore River One

Singapore River One (SRO) is a private sector-led partnership charged with the day-to-day management, maintenance, enhancement and marketing of the Singapore River. SRO is a legally-established not-for-profit company with a singular focus on leveraging public and private investments, increasing footfall, and enhancing property values within the Singapore River precinct.

SRO is responsible for place management of the entire Singapore River precinct – including Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay. It is the intent of SRO that the river be managed as one precinct – one destination – with specialized programs and service delivery methods utilized in each quay as needed, and as directed by a 5 year business plan.

This new partnership initiative will leverage and pool resources from a variety of public and private sector sources; it will have the involvement and participation of both public and private sector stakeholders, and it will be empowered with the role of implementing the business plan and place managing the Singapore River precinct.
