Commercial real estate to get better quality contractors from Kluje

Kluje will make it easier for property managers of offices, F&B stores and retail outlets to keep track of their renovation projects. While there are many competitors in the home renovation market across Asia, Kluje is the only business that is disrupting the commercial real estate space.

With a proven track record, the business is expected to scale rapidly as it has already started operations in Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand. To move even faster, Kluje is in partnership talks with global real estate services providers Savills and Colliers to handle their renovations regionally.

Kluje Commercial's service empowers property managers to post their ‘requirements' for free. Vetted and qualified contractors view them and up to 3 will 'bid' on it. These contractors will then provide a 'quote' and the property manager selects the best one. Typically, such projects can range from $30,000USD to $500,000USD.

Kluje Commercial also offers a "Concierge" service. Kluje will appoint localized consultants to each project to ensure excellent work is delivered and in a timely fashion. This is especially handy for expatriate property managers in non-English speaking markets.

After two years of operating, Kluje now has an impressive list of contractors to offer services for every renovation need. The categories of minor and major works include space planning, interior design, reinstatement of space, security solutions, and furniture installation.

Besides being a matchmaker of property managers and contractors, Kluje creates a ranking system for contractors. Currently, with no industry benchmarks for contractors, it is often a game of chance when hiring one. Relying on user feedback and reviews, Kluje separates the wheat from the chaff.
