CLARKE QUAY TO HOST POST RUGBY CELEBRATIONS

Singapore, 4 April 2017 – For the second year, Clarke Quay, Asia’s leading riverside F&B and entertainment hub is the designated after party zone for the 2017 HSBC Singapore Rugby 7s. After a successful partnership with Rugby Singapore last year, Clarke Quay, with its international selection of more than 60 restaurants, bars and clubs, is the perfect choice to continue the party after the final whistle.

To welcome Rugby fans, Clarke Quay will be presenting Music After 7s, a three-day music festival featuring some of Clarke Quay’s best DJs and live bands. Kicking off the long weekend festivities on 14 April are DJ Slick and DJ Reiko from f.Club, with their monster playlist of Hip Hop and Top 40s. From 15 to 16 April, rock out to electrifying live performances from prominent regional and local bands such as Jukeleles, Shagies, Full Circle, Accento, 3AM Band at Clarke Quay Fountain Square.

Every great music party needs great food and drinks and there are plenty at Music After 7s! Fuel up with Tiger Beer, Guinness Stout or a Strongbow Apple Cider while munching on the signature bites from participating bars.

Several restaurants, bars and clubs in Clarke Quay are offering rugby fans extra privileges by showing their Singapore Sevens tickets. Rugby fans can also party with the stars, legends and players of the HSBC Singapore 7s at the official After Party at f.Club on 16 April.

Getting to Clarke Quay is also a breeze with free shuttle services from the National Stadium on 15 and 16 April, running from 7.30pm to 9.45pm.

About DJ SLICK DJ Slick is an international Hip Hop & R&B DJ & producer from Cologne, Germany. He is a veteran in his field with up to 15 years of experience in music and having played in over 400 clubs globally. Notwithstanding his heavily-booked schedule, DJ Slick is also a radio host on German radio station, bigFM.

About DJ Reiko DJ Reiko’s sets have the ability to make people bounce and bring the roof down. Her music is stylish like herself as she works her way through the party circuit. No stranger to the scene, she is currently the resident DJ of Singapore’s most popular mega-club, FashionTV Club Singapore. DJ Reiko is also currently one of Altra's most highly sought-after artistes.

15 April 2017 (Saturday) - Live Performances from:

3AM Band – Presented by Bungy Bar 3 unique individuals from different walks of life known for their fresh and full sound with a touch of their very own renditions of acoustic covers.

Accento – Presented by Highlander A team of artistically inclined musicians and lead vocalist. Accento’s cluster of songs includes variety of music from different genres from hits of classic hits up to the present top 40s. Their unique styles and execution of songs add flavor and excitement to the audiences locally and abroad. They have performed in various cities in the Philippines, Vietnam and Dubai.

Full Circle – Presented by Paulaner Clarke Quay Full Circle is a high-energy rock act that is made up of a close circle of friends. They will play your favourite songs with a tinge of humor and fun added in every performance. Having a wide repertoire from the 80's all the way to the present, it is hard to be left unentertained.

This homegrown talented band will mesmerize you with their amazing repertoire of dance hits, romantic ballads, rock-you-to-the-core music fuses hypnotic soul and alternative rock, R n B, reggae, Latin and anything under the sun!

Jukuleles – Presented by McGettigan’s The Jukuleles are a fun and dynamic band showcasing what Singaporean talent has to offer. With Wan and Tian on lead vocals and ukuleles, Zi on percussion, Farhan on trumpet and Kamal on bass, they'll charm and tease you with music from different genres.

Ireson Band – Presented by Señor Taco

Mexican pianist and composer Alina Ramirez and bassist, guitarist, composer and arranger Mario Lopez founded IRESON in 1991. Growing up surrounded by the tradition of Latin music, both have incorporated their formal classical training and knowledge of modern harmony to the music they play and compose. They create a new unique sound, exploring Afro-Latin rhythms with their blend of traditional and contemporary styles.
