The Butchers Club Burger Singapore Celebrates Singapore’s 51st Birthday

Dig into limited edition National Day menu specials from 29 July to 10 August

Singapore, 25 July 2016 — The Butchers Club Burger Singapore kicks off the National Day celebrations early with the introduction of limited-edition menu items commemorating Singapore’s unique local flavours.

For two weekends starting from 29 July, The Little Red Dot Burger will be available as part of The Butchers Club Burger’s National Day Set Menu. The Little Red Dot Burger was specially created for this event and pays homage to Singapore’s much loved satay ayam (chicken satay). The Butchers Club Burger’s take on the classic features 140g of a grilled juicy chicken patty, with crunchy cucumber strips, freshly shaved red onions, caramelised pineapple is lathered in rich ginger peanut sauce, and served between two sesame buns.

This is The Butchers Club Burger’s first National Day celebration since opening in September 2015—and Singapore’s birthday is the perfect occasion to create something that was unique to this city. After many iterations of the special event burger, The Little Red Dot came out on top as a truly Singapore-inspired burger. The Butchers Club touch was added by upsizing it to the usual Butchers Club Burger portion, and serving it with caramelised pineapple for that extra zest.

The National Day Set Menu ($35++) is a combination of popular local flavours: It will come with The Little Red Dot Burger, a side serving of straight-cut fries seasoned with curry powder and the SG Fling—a Singapore Sling-inspired vodka-based cocktail. A non-alcoholic option ($28++) is also available and diners can opt for a chocolate, vanilla or strawberry milkshake. This set menu will only be available from 29 July to 10 August 2016. As an added treat, diners who come dressed in both red and white on National Day (9 August) will receive an SG Fling on the house for their patriotic efforts.Get connected! About The Butchers Club

The Butchers Club was founded in April 2013 and established itself in Hong Kong for bringing the trend of dry-aged

beef from the US and Europe to Asia – making dry-aged beef more accessible worldwide. Operating from their

headquarters in Aberdeen on Hong Kong Island, The Butchers Club today comprises of The Butchery & Shop, an

Online Store, the Private Kitchen's chef’s table, 14,000 sq ft event space, a steakhouse called Steak Frites by The

Butchers Club, four Butchers Club Burgers, a multi-faceted catering arm and multiple locations around Asia.

With a vision to spread the trend of dry-aged beef beyond Hong Kong, the group established its first international

outlet with The Butchers Club Burger in Bali in December 2014. Singapore was the next destination with The

Butchers Club Burger opening at Clarke Quay in October 2015. Plans to further expand in Asia, the UK and Australia are in the pipeline for The Butchers Club Group.
