VLV PRESENTS AN ABUNDANCE OF BLESSINGS THIS LUNAR NEW YEAR

Singapore, November 2016 - VLV welcomes the year of the Rooster in style with a stunning suite of culinary creations. Housed in a turn of the century conservation Teochew mansion, the restaurant updates the architecture with tasteful and elegant modern fixtures. Within this stunning dining room, celebrate the festivities with your nearest and dearest with sets for varying group sizes and also a set catering specially to vegetarian guests.

Each set includes the VLV “Lo Hei”, an exquisitely plated modern take on the traditional dish centred with fresh vegetables. Executive Chef Martin Foo takes care to use all natural ingredients for this creation with no artificial colourings or preservatives. Finely julienned carrots, cucumber and radish are elevated with the house made passionfruit plum sauce.

Five set menus are available for selection, featuring a number of VLV signature dishes like the Kagoshima Kurobuta Char Siew and the Black Truffle Roasted Duck which complement special dishes created for the season including Vermicelli with Hokkaido Scallop & Egg white and Coral Trout prepared Two Ways.

For vegetarian guests, a feast awaits with a menu featuring exquisite dishes like Chrysanthemum Tofu Soup with Matsutake & Bamboo Fungus and Fried Millet with Pine Nut and Olive.

Yu Sheng creations are also available ala carte for dine in or takeaway. Each Yu Sheng is available in two sizes, small serves three to six persons and the large serves seven to ten. A wide variety of seafood options are available, with the Salmon Yu Sheng starting at $58++ for the small.
