This year’s key themes aim to change the way we live, interact and learn. They revolve around:

• Digital Life, which scrutinizes the advances in and impact of artificial intelligence, robotics and automation on everyday lives. These sessions explore opportunities and challenges from the Internet of Everything (IoE) age, including cybersecurity and analytics;
• Connected Health, which looks at how healthcare is changing through the application of technology. It also explores aspects of genome editing – how nanomedicine is breaking the code to fight human disease;
• Augmenting Knowledgeis a session that scans the ways technologies are changing the way we interact with each other and our environments. Speakers will delve into thenext frontier of Augmented Reality and biofeedback enhanced games;
• Intelligent Transportation,will probe how fully and partially autonomous vehicles are changing the way we transport, travel and commute. This session will zero in on smart highways, the intelligent and interactive roads of the future;
• The Future of Money, looks at how digital banking, payment gateways and cryptocurrencies will affect the way we are going to bank and pay in the future.

EmTech Asia 2016 also recognizes the TR35 ‘Innovators under 35’ from around the region. At the conference, 10 honourees from around the region will give elevator pitches about their work at. These pitches typically result in further publicity for their work, along with investment opportunities.
