Accoya® Wood Is Featured In Landscape Forum Magazine 2013
Landscape Forum Magazine, one of the reputable and well read magazines in the landscape architecture industry has featured Accoya® wood in its latest Issue 11. For this issue, it focuses on encouraging readers to live a green lifestyle that benefits them as well as the environment. Great tips on ways to decorate your space into a green and sustainable home are shared and eco friendly materials are introduced to readers.
In this issue, Accoya® wood has been featured to allow more readers to be aware of this eco friendly material. This Eco wood is produced from Radiata Pine sourced from sustainable forests in New Zealand and Chile and it has the most recognized environmental credentials such as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®), the Singapore Green Label, Cradle to Cradle SM Gold Certificate, PEFC and other reputable accreditations. It is a recommended wood that can be use as many different woodworks such as decking, cladding, fencing windows and doors, for residential and commercial places due to its high performance qualities.
“Not only is its durability proven (test results are available on request), but it has also been shown to retain its appearance, requiring much less frequent maintenance than other wood species”, this gives reassurance to main builders or architects who have specs in Accoya® wood for claddings or at areas where it requires lower maintenance to retain the beauty of the material.
By realizing that the Accoya® wood has outstanding dimensional stability and durability, existing home owners will therefore have better understanding as well as increased confidence on using Accoya® wood to beautify their balconies and roof terraces.
